About this dieline
A pillow pouch is made from one sheet of film wrapped into a tube and sealed down the back, then across the top and the bottom. Chips, candy and coffee pods usually come in it.
Enter the width and height, choose a fin, lap or reverse lap back seal and download a print-ready PDF of the whole film: the two back halves on the sides and the front in the middle. You can move the seam off-centre to keep it clear of a barcode or text.
Fin seal or lap seal?
A fin seal joins the film inside to inside and stands up as a small fin — it works with any film. A lap seal overlaps the edges and uses less film, but needs a film that seals on both sides.
Why are there two back parts?
The film wraps around, so the back is made of two halves that meet at the seam.
