About this dieline
A stick pack is a slim single-serve tube: one strip of film wrapped around, sealed down the back and across both ends. Sugar, instant coffee, powdered drinks and supplements often come in one.
Enter the width and height, choose a fin or lap back seal and download a print-ready PDF of the whole film, with the zigzag cut-off edges drawn in. Switch them to straight if your packs are cut clean.
Fin or lap seal?
A fin seal joins the film inside to inside and stands up as a thin fin. A lap seal overlaps the edges and uses a little less film, but needs a film that seals on both sides.
Why is the edge zigzag?
The knife that cuts packs apart is serrated. The zigzag edge also makes the pack easier to tear open.
