About this dieline
A pillow box is the soft, curved little box used for gifts, jewellery, gift cards and wedding favours. It is one sheet of board with a glue tab; each end closes by pressing along two curved creases, with no flaps or tucks.
Enter the overall length, the face width and the height, and download a print-ready PDF with the cut line and the curved crease lines.
Why is the height limited?
The curved ends can only fold if they are not too deep. Past about 0.41 × the width the board would have to bend too sharply at the corners, so the height is capped there and the drawing says so.
Does board thickness matter?
Not for the lines: a pillow box has no tight folds to allow for. Thin board folds best. Check with your printer, or print one at 1:1 and fold it first.
