A loop handle bag has a soft plastic loop sealed to the top of the bag instead of a cut-out handle. It is common for fashion, cosmetics and gift shops — it looks more premium and carries heavier items comfortably.

Does the handle scale with the bag?
No. The loop keeps a standard size so it always fits a hand; only the bag body changes.
Loop handle or die-cut handle bag?
A die-cut handle bag is cheaper, because the handle is just a cut. A loop handle feels nicer to carry and leaves more room for the design at the top.
