Loop handle bag sizes
A loop handle bag has a soft plastic loop welded to the top instead of a punched hole. It is comfortable to carry and takes heavier loads — often 4–5 kg. These are the sizes sellers stock most, as a starting point for your print.

Typical starting points, not a standard. The 375–380 × 450 mm bag is the everyday medium; UK sellers also stock extra-wide bags up to about 1 m for bulky goods.
How to read the sizes
- Width × height — the bag itself. Sellers rarely say whether their height includes the loop; our dieline measures to the top edge of the bag and draws the loop above it. If you order to a seller's size, ask which they mean.
- Bottom gusset — the full depth of the bottom when it is opened. “+ 3 in” and “+ 75 mm” are the full depth; German sellers write “+ 5 cm” for 5 cm on each fold, 10 cm open. In our generator the field is the fold depth, half of the full gusset — the links above fill it in.
Square-bottom boutique bags
The thick frosted boutique bags with a cardboard base, sold as width × depth × height (for example 13 × 7 × 13 in), are built with side gussets. Their layout is different from the flat loop bag drawn here.
