Drawer box sizes
A drawer box — a tray that slides out of a sleeve, like a matchbox — makes a small gift feel special. Here are the sizes shops keep in stock, from jewellery to gift sets, so you can start from one that fits.

Typical stock sizes, not a standard: every supplier's list is a little different. The sizes are the tray's; the sleeve is made just big enough for it to slide. Your printer will adapt them to your product.
How to measure
- Length — the way the tray slides out, crease to crease. Leave a few millimetres around the product.
- Width — across the tray, crease to crease.
- Height — the depth of the tray. The sleeve sits a little higher, so it clears the tray's top edge.
Which board?
The default is thin paperboard, 0.4 mm — what stock drawer boxes are made of, easy to fold and to print. A bigger or heavier box wants F or E flute. The board doesn't change the tray: it only moves the double ends and the slots, and makes the sleeve a little bigger so the tray still slides.
