Terms of Service
Last updated: 18 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Dieline Studio for using die-lines.com. We wrote them to be read, not skimmed past. By using the site you agree to them; if you don't agree, please don't use it. How we handle your data is explained separately in our Privacy page.
What Dieline Studio is
A tool that draws packaging dielines — bags, pouches and boxes — from the sizes you enter and gives you a print-ready PDF. You can use it without an account. Right now everything on the site is free. If we ever add paid features, we will say so clearly, and you will never be charged for anything you haven't agreed to first.
Your account
- You can sign up with an email and password, or with your Google account. You need to be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Keep your login safe. You're responsible for what happens under your account; if you think someone else has access to it, tell us through the Feedback link.
- One account per person, with an email address that's really yours, so we can reach you about your account.
- You can delete your account at any time in Account settings. That also deletes every dieline saved in it.
The dielines you make
- They're yours to use. Use the files for your own products, for your clients and commercially — no credit, no fees, no permission needed.
- Check before you go to production. Dielines are generated from formulas and common industry practice. Board, film, grain direction, tolerances and machines differ, so before you order a cutting die or print a run, check the file with your printer or die-maker and make a sample. They are the ones who can confirm it fits their process.
Saved and shared dielines
- What you save stays yours. You allow us to store it and show it to you, and — when you share it — to show it to anyone who has the link.
- A shared link works for anyone who has it until you stop sharing. Don't put anything private or offensive in the name of a dieline you share. We may remove shared dielines whose names are abusive or unlawful.
Fair use
Please don't:
- try to break, overload or probe the site, or get around its limits and sign-up prompts with bots or scripts;
- scrape the site in bulk, or resell access to the generator as your own service;
- create accounts in bulk, pretend to be someone else, or use the site for anything unlawful;
- send spam or abuse through the Feedback form.
We may limit or suspend access for accounts or traffic that break these rules.
Our part
- The site, its design, the Dieline Studio name and mark, and the software that draws the dielines belong to us. These terms let you use the service; they don't give you rights in any of that.
- We work to keep the site running and your saved dielines safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Keep a copy of any file you need by downloading the PDF.
- We may change, add or remove features as the tool grows.
No warranty
The site and everything it produces are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dieline Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, materials, tooling or print runs, arising from your use of the site or of files it produced. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before it — which today is nothing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Other services
If you sign in with Google, Google's own terms apply to your Google account. Our Privacy page lists the services that help us run the site.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top always shows the current version, and if a change matters for accounts, we will mention it on the site or by email. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Ending things
You can stop using the site and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. The sections on ownership, no warranty and limitation of liability still apply after that.
