About this dieline
A paper bag with handles is the shop bag with a flat bottom: one sheet of paper glued into a tube, with folded gussets on the sides and the bottom folded flat. Clothing stores, bookshops and takeaway use it.
Enter the width, gusset depth and height, choose paper or rope handles and download a print-ready PDF of the whole sheet: front, back, both gussets, the glue flap, the bottom folds and the turn-top at the top.
What is the turn-top?
The strip at the top that folds inside. It makes the edge stronger and holds the handles. Set it to 0 for a plain cut edge.
Paper or rope handles?
Paper handles are glued inside, so they add nothing to the dieline. Rope handles go through punched holes, drawn in the wall and, when there is a turn-top, in the turn-top too, so they line up once it is folded in.
